Eating for the Winter!

With the weather super cold here in the Northeast I can’t help but think of the seasonal produce that is in stock and all the delicious recipes.
Choosing in season can have so many extra benefits for your health and it’s why it’s important to try to choose in season produce whenever possible! It is much more nutritious which is better for your gut.
Fruits that are in season during the winter: Apples, Most Citrus including: Oranges, Clementines, Grapefruit, Lemons, Tangerines. Also Kiwis, Kumquats, Pears
Veggies include; Avocado, Beets, Bok Choy, Broccoli, Brussel Sprouts, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Collards, Fennel, Roots Veggies, Swiss Chard.
