Have you heard "wellness is not a destination, it is a journey?" Our society is caught up in quick fixes, quick results, and quick "food." However, your wellness is always going to be changing to match your current needs. I have been studying nutrition and wellness at least seven years now and I am always looking at new ways to better my health, clean my eating, and manage my stress.
You can eat all the veggies in the world but if you are not taking care of your mind•body•&soul you are missing the point.⠀⠀⠀⠀
As a nutrition coach I do believe in the theory that “food is medicine” we can heal ourselves using the right nutrients to help the mind and body.....⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
HOWEVER it’s important to not only look at food but to also look at rituals we do everyday for ourselves. Rituals to help nourish the mind and fulfill the soul.
What does that mean to you?
For me I connect to >>•yoga•<< it centers me, it balances me, and it relaxes me.
There are many things out there you can be doing to help yourself stay grounded and connected. Sometimes we just need that little nudge or for some the accountability to stick to something that helps us.
